Molekula is a European catalogue company offering research chemicals and biochemicals
from production sites in two countries and sales locations in five countries. Molekula
was founded in 1999 as a trading company operating from a rented facility trading
bulk chemicals and fine chemicals to customers in France.

Operations in the UK were established in 2000 to serve the British market, which
later became Molekula’s operating headquarters. During this period Molekula started
to hold inventory and package products into smaller units for resale to the Research
market. The first catalogue listing of 500 products in research units was distributed
in 2001. |

Molekula commenced operations in Germany with the establishment of Molekula GmbH
in 2002 to help improve distribution of products to the German and surrounding markets.
Healthy growth patterns continue to put a strain on the existing facilities.

|
Improvements in the Electronic Data Processing (EDP) and Computing & Database Technologies
(CDT) enabled a better control of Purchasing, Goods receipt and Distribution information.
Technical data, Certificates of Analysis and MSDS programs were initiated to build
the Molekula Technical database.

|
Continuing growth facilitated distribution of 10,000 copies of Molekula’s 2005 catalogue
expanded product range totalling more than 3000 products.

|
|
Molekula then embarked on an ambitious geographical expansion and integration plan
with the focus on integrating India and China into its fold. |

|
Molekula India was established at Hyderabad, India in early-2006 giving Molekula
its first in-house research, QC and production facilities in Hyderabad. Molekula
India has successfully launched Molekula brand research products in India and the
surrounding markets. |

|
Molekula has collaborated with worldwide database companies, MDL Elsevier, Chemical
Information Services, Chemexper, Chembuyer’s guide and the first Store-on-line with
Chemfindit UK
|
|
|
|
Molekula now has its production site in the South of England in addition to its
facilities in India and the 2008 catalogue offers an ex-stock listing of over 6,500
products. |
